Friday, we had the honor of celebrating our Fire Marshal, Chief Robbie Canady, and his incredible 36.5 years of service to the Covington Fire Department.
Throughout his career, Chief Canady has dedicated his life to serving this community, leading others, and making a lasting impact on everyone around him. His dedication, leadership, and passion for the fire service will never be forgotten.
Chief Canady, thank you for your years of hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to this department and the citizens of Covington. We are truly grateful for everything you have done and wish you nothing but the best in this next chapter of life.
A special thank you to Fire Chief Joe Doss and Operations Chief Donnie Tudor for providing a delicious BBQ lunch for everyone to enjoy. We would also like to thank Stewart Community Church for allowing us to use chairs for the retirement celebration. Your kindness and support helped make the day even more special.
Additionally, thank you to the Tarpley family for providing tables and helping everything come together so smoothly.
🎉🚒 Congratulations again, Chief Canady! Enjoy retirement. You have more than earned it. 🚒🎉
