C Shift put in some hard work this morning during air consumption drills.

Firefighters completed job-based tasks that simulate conditions encountered during a structure fire, including fireground movements, hand-to-eye coordination exercises and building endurance while operating on air. The goal was to evaluate air consumption, build confidence in their equipment, and reinforce the skills needed to work safely and effectively in demanding environments.

Training like this helps ensure our firefighters are prepared when the call comes.

Another productive day of training for our recruits! Today they tackled the maze, sharpening their navigation and confidence in confined-space scenarios, and worked with the ladder truck to gain hands-on experience with its equipment and operations.
