Video footage captures our Bell 206L-3 helicopter from STS VIP Helicopter Services performing a golf ball drop at Onion Creek Golf Club.

Yesterday’s event was held with Team Luke Hope for Minds during their 14th Annual Golf Tournament. The precision drop supports the vital mission of providing hope for children and their families recovering from brain injuries.

The end of an era as STS VIP bids farewell to Ryan Kelly. As his final act as Check Airman, Ryan Kelly administered an annual proficiency check to Brian Dewees.

Ryan is an exceptional teammate and will now devote his time to Travis County StarFlight and his growing family. Although he will not be far away, his presence will be missed.

Formula 1 Enthusiasts,

The race weekend (18-20 October 2024) is approaching, and we have limited seats remaining.

1) Clients interested in chartering our Bell 206L3 for transportation to/from the track on 18-20 October (Race Weekend):

- Charter Defined: The helicopter is reserved for private use

- Round trip pricing is $6K for the helicopter, which includes car service at the track and all landing fees & taxes.

- Flights will arrive/depart from our heliport in South Austin (4XS8)

- The Bell 206 can seat a group of five (5) adults.

2) Clients who are interested in a helicopter shuttle service via a Bell 407 for movement to/from the track on 19-20 October (Sprint & Race Day).

- Shuttle Defined: You will be sharing the helicopter with others who are not in your group.

- Round trip pricing is $2K per person, which includes car service at the track and all landing fees & taxes.

- Flights will arrive and depart from our heliport in South Austin (4XS8)

- The Bell 407 has seating for a six (6) adults

Congratulations to Michigan & Washington football for their entry into the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Houston, Monday January 8th, 7:30PM.

Followers of STS VIP Helicopter Services. Below is an update and ask from one of our pilots, Ryan Kelly, who also works for Travis County Star Flight. Please read and give your fullest consideration.

Hey everyone. My name is Ryan and I’m a local full time Search & Rescue helicopter pilot and occasional recreational fixed wing pilot. I learned to fly after I lost my right leg to an IED in Iraq which brought about a few unique challenges. During the early days of my flight training an organization called Able Flight played a pivotal role in me reaching my professional goals, and after benefiting from the organization, I’m now a proud volunteer member of the Board of Directors. We are currently fundraising for a second fully adapted training aircraft which will be made by Vashon Aircraft in Washington State. More details can be found on the GoFund Me page and also at AbleFlight.org.

Also, if you know of any individual living with a disability who have an interest in aviation I hope you share our website with them. We provide scholarships for different ratings, and also non-flying aviation related career scholarships for individuals with a wide range of disabilities.

Formula One 2023 complete! The STS VIP Team executed with flawless precision.

We fought through some early morning fog on Sunday and recovered guests for a competitor. People helping people.

Lots of interesting folks on our birds. Highlight included moving Prince Harry and working with his team.

Supporting the Team Luke - Hope for Minds 12th Annual Golf Tournament with a helicopter golf ball drop at the Onion Creek Golf Club, South Austin.

This is STS VIP’s 5th iteration with Team Luke who’s misson is to enrich the lives of children with a brain injury and give hope to their families through support and education.

We were a little rusty on this one with no balls in the cup from a 250 ft. drop. Next time!
