Ireland update!

I have blocked 40 spots for our tour. It will be first come, first serve.
We will fly out of the US on July 31, 2027 and the tour will start on August 1, 2027. Your flight will travel overnight and you will land on August 1.

I can absolutely help to book those flights if you would like me to.

Contract is signed and now we wait for the vendor to give me instructions.
The cost will be $4945 per person (if traveling with a companion). Single supplement is $1445 (if traveling on your own). We can only have 3 single passengers, total, in our group.

If you deposit within the first 74 days after I receive the contract back, you will receive a 5% discount of $247 per person.

Final payment will be due on or before May 27, 2027.

The deposit will be $250 and will be non-refundable if you book within the first 74 days for that discount. If you book after the first 74 days, the deposit will be refundable, depending on when you cancel.

Optional insurance IS AVAILABLE or you can use an insurance coverage of your choice.

My husband & I will personally be staying 1 extra day after the tour. We love to have 1 day just on our own before coming home.

It will be up to you if you would like to arrive a day early, stay a day later, or even stay more days! We can also add on a 3 day trip to London to your tour if you would like.

This itinerary looks fantastic & I cannot wait!

Packing for Scotland.

What I wish I had done differently.

~Packing cubes with our outfits for each day would have been wonderful since we switched hotels often!

~I didn't take an umbrella as so many told me the wind would be too much for it. We actually rented one from a hotel we stayed at. Take the umbrella AND the poncho!

~Washcloths. I took them, as 2 of our 5 hotels didn't have them. This is typical. I wish I had bought cheap cloths at Dollar General/Walmart and tossed as we used them. Having wet washcloths to pack up wasn't fun.

~Wet suit bag. We used our swim suits at 2 different hotels. I wish I had a wet bag to pack them in.

~Packing for wh**ky bottles we brought home. I didn't take ours and wished I had. This is what I have (it's what Disney uses).

~I forgot my compression socks. They would have felt wonderful on the days we walked a lot and also on the flights.

Other than that, I loved that we took hats/ball caps for the rain/wind. Layered in tshirts, long sleeves and jackets. I personally didn't wear a jacket but one day. I loved the weather!

Forgot my hand sanitizer that I bought specifically for the trip.

Would NEVER travel without the portable fan we took with us. If you both need one, pack 1 for each nightstand!

We took a top sheet and that was SO NICE! The hotels there do not use top sheets, just duvet covered comforters.

I will be posting and contacting each and every one of you who want to head to Ireland with us in August of 2027. I should have exact pricing and all details by the beginning of next week.

I will be getting the Irish group around tomorrow!!!!!

After speaking with fellow travelers who have done Irish trips in the past, I have been told to NOT SKIP Northern Ireland.

I am so excited to go back to the UK next year, we had a fantastic time!
