On Monday morning, Convoy Logistics lost a very special employee. Although Daniel was fairly new to our company, he immediately brought a special atmosphere to our office. He made people laugh, he lightened the mood, which is always needed, and he was always so willing to learn, excel and go the extra mile for our customers, vendors and staff. We wanted to share what Daniel brought to our lives in the short amount of time that he was with Convoy Logistics:
For only knowing Daniel a few short months I could tell he had a good heart. He would always check on everyone each day when he came in and would ask us all to say a prayer for his mom once he found out she had cancer. Asking anyone if they needed a hand was always at the forefront of his mind and could make you laugh without even trying. He will surely be missed here at Convoy. Rest easy Daniel.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our newest Team members! Daniel caught on fast and was doing a great job and was very eager to continue learning and move up. He will be truly missed but we know Heaven has gained a very special person that will always be remembered by those here at Convoy. Please keep his family in your prayers!
He was only with us for a short period of time, but during that time he was learning the job well and making friends with his co-workers and customers. I called him “my buddy” just last week because he was starting to borrow snacks out of my snack drawer regularly.
Daniel gave compliments easily and had a way of making you feel good about yourself. He had a unique sense of humor that sometimes went over my head, but he was always trying to make people laugh. I can’t tell you how many times I would hear him and Kel up front laughing over something that I knew nothing about, but it always made me smile to know that they were having such a good time working together. Rest in peace, Daniel. You will be missed.
Good laughs and good times were had in the short period of time I got to know him. He was always ready to learn and always willing to step in to help with anything. I will miss laughing about the most random things until tears came to my eyes. He will truly be missed. Rest Peacefully DG.
I only got to work with Daniel for a short time but in that short time I learned that he was always very easy to get along with, had a big personality, and was always willing to help in any way he could. He will definitely be missed at Convoy from his excitement when talking on the phone to customers and carriers to the cheesy jokes he came in with every morning hoping to make everyone laugh. Rest peacefully, Daniel.
Daniel always tried to be included when we had any type of discussion going on at the office, which was great for being so new to Convoy. He told us lots of stories about his past, then he would apologize for rambling but they were nice to hear because we got to know him better. Daniel's kindness will be missed. Rest peacefully Daniel
One of the first things that I noticed about Daniel was his concern for others. In every conversation that I had with Daniel, he always asked about me, or my family. He always seemed to be much more concerned about other people than himself. The world could use more people like Daniel!!
