Yesterday, we lost Zach Golley, a valued member of our public works department and a devoted Ellicottville First Responder. Zach was distinguished by his warm smile and unwavering commitment to helping others. We kindly request that you remember Zach, his loved ones, and the Golley family in your prayers as we collectively mourn this loss. Zach, your absence will be deeply felt❤️ Zach is currently on life support and awaiting organ donation.

So this happened a few days ago. We were called first by the railroad because there was a train coming through the next day. Then the police called and asked if we could assist. He was on the tracks about a mile out with a very narrow pass way. Drop off was about 250 ft straight down. We were able to get him safely back to the roadway.
