⚠️ LOW WATER = HIDDEN SURPRISES! 🚤💦

This is what happens when the water drops and that “deep water” you remember turns into a sandbar! 😳

One wrong turn and you might be making a call to TowBoatUS to come pull you out! 😂🪢🚤

Smith Lake is dropping, so slow down, watch your depth finder, and don’t assume your usual route is still safe. Areas that were fine earlier in the summer may be a whole different story now.

Be careful out there, folks—we’d rather see you cruising into Smith Lake Marina than getting dragged off a sandbar! 😂

⚠️ ATTENTION SMITH LAKE BOATERS! ⚠️

The water level is dropping drastically, so please use extra caution while boating! 🚤

As the lake drops, rocks, stumps, shallow areas, and other underwater hazards can become much closer to the surface than you’re used to.

👉 Slow down in unfamiliar areas
👉 Keep a close eye on your depth finder
👉 Stay in known channels whenever possible
👉 Don’t assume an area is safe just because you’ve traveled through it before

Protect your boat, your passengers, and yourself. A little extra caution can prevent a very expensive—or dangerous—accident.

😂⛽ Well… somebody forgot to check the gas! 🚤

The boys from Vestavia Hills are getting their workout in today, pulling the boat back in after running out of gas! 💪😂

Just another day on Smith Lake! At least they made it back — even if it wasn’t under their own power! 🤣
