I wanted to take a moment to give a shoutout to Ravi Kahan with Creative Financial Partners.

Michael and I have worked with Ravi and his team for over 15 years, and they’ve been a huge help in everything from investments and retirement planning to business and financial guidance. Hi neighbors! 👋

I wanted to share a great deal we just took advantage of with AT&T in case it helps anyone else save some money.

Now that AT&T Fiber is available in our neighborhood, we decided to switch from Xfinity. Instead of going into a store, AT&T actually sent a representative to our home and handled everything right at the kitchen table—internet setup, phone service, paperwork, and account transfers. It was incredibly easy.

Here’s how it worked out for us:

• We bundled AT&T Fiber internet + 4 cell phone lines

• Our total monthly bill is about $200/month

• With Xfinity we were paying $437/month

That’s a savings of about $2,800 per year. 💰

They also had some really great phone promotions:

• If you have device payments, they’ll pay them off up to $800 per phone

• We had iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and they gave us $1,100 trade-in credit per phone

• We upgraded to the iPhone 17 Pro and the phones are fully paid for (no device payment)

• They waived the $35 activation fee per phone

• Bundling fiber internet with cell service gave us an additional 20% discount

If you prefer Samsung devices, they also had great upgrade and trade-in options for Samsung phones as well.

They will also install the fiber at no charge, and the modem/router is included in the monthly internet price.

Overall it was a really smooth experience and the savings were huge.

If anyone is paying high prices for internet and cell phone service, it might be worth looking into.

Highway 9 north of Fowler Park is becoming pretty dicey, and conditions are expected to worsen throughout the day as temperatures drop.

✅ Areas Currently OK
• South of McFarland Road: Roads are mostly fine right now with only a light dusting of snow.

⚠️ Areas of Concern (Use Extreme Caution)

Highway 9 / Bethelview Area
• Bethelview & Highway 9: Roads are increasingly covered with snow, and blowing snow is still occurring.
Proceed with extreme caution.
• Bethelview & Highway 20: Intersection is very slick and unsafe.

Roads to Avoid
• Kelly Mill Road: Avoid altogether.
• Bethelview in front of Ashbrook Subdivision: Fairly covered with snow.

❄️ Highway 20 Conditions
• Highway 20 East toward City Center: Not good at all and expected to worsen as snowfall continues.
• Highway 20 & Spot Road Connector: Roads are already slick — many drivers may struggle later, especially on slight hills.
• Sawnee Drive: Very well coated with snow and should be avoided.
• Doc Bramblett toward Downtown: Conditions are deteriorating quickly.

Better Route Option
• Highway 20 West from Bethelview toward Canton: In much better shape at this time and does not look too bad.

• Post Road: Looks fairly decent right now.
• Hyde Road (parallel to Post Road between Kelly Mill & Hwy 20): Some patchy slick areas, but not terrible yet.
