Offshore Liftboats, an offshore services provider of self-propelled, self-elevating, deck barges (Li Our office, located at 16182 West Main in Cut Off, LA.

Offshore Liftboats is experienced in supporting operations such as P&A (plug and abandon), maintenance and repair (work-over), structural construction and repairs, slick line, wire line, seismic, dive support, and salvage. Our larger vessels are capable of carrying out several operations at the same time. Since Liftboats are self-propelled, they are mobile and fast. They can work in shallow water,

and transport supplies and materials (deck loads) up to 700,000 lbs. Our latest vessels have been constructed with state-of-the-art equipment and features. is also state of the art. We are now able to ride out the toughest storms and continue to operate our fleet from the office. After the storm clears, we are immediately ready to provide services to our clients.

On Monday, our CEO Mrs. Vanessa Pierce and CFO Mrs. Lauren Guidry had the honor of attending South Lafourche High School’s Scholarship Night on behalf of the Melancon Family to present scholarships to deserving University Bond students. 💙

This morning we presented Captain Timothy Lawrence with a 20 year service award with Honor and Distinction for Twenty Years of Service, Leadership and Commitment to
Offshore Liftboats, LLC.

Tim started his career here in April 2006 as a deckhand and worked his way up through the ranks to Captain. Loyalty like this makes us the safe operation that we are today.

Today we would like to take a moment to recognize and congratulate Gary Callais Jr., our Chief Operations Officer, on 25 years of dedicated leadership with Offshore Liftboats.

Gary began his career with the Melancon family over 30 years ago at Falcon Operators, starting out as a liftboat captain—a role he knows firsthand and still honors by maintaining his captain’s license today. His knowledge of the industry was earned on the water, and through hard work and dedication, he was later promoted into an office position.

When Mike and Annie Melancon purchased the vessels and founded Offshore Liftboats, Gary stayed on as Operations Manager, helping guide the company through its growth and success. Today, he continues to work alongside the third generation of the Melancon family serving as an integral part of our daily operations and long-term vision.

Gary’s leadership, experience, and commitment have made a lasting impact—not only within our company but throughout the liftboat industry as a whole. We are truly grateful for his loyalty, guidance, and unwavering dedication.

Yesterday, January 12th 2025, Mr. Christopher Billiot celebrated his 20th Anniversary working at Offshore Liftboats!

Chris started his career here at 18 years old as a deckhand and quickly worked his way up to Captain. Today Chris is our longest tenured vessel Captain and overall longest sitting crew member.

Today our executive staff presented Chris with a service award with Honor and Distinction for 20 years of service, leadership, and commitment to Offshore Liftboats!
