🌞A Big Announcement🌞
We have been planning and growing our business over the past six months. We have learned a lot about rentals, specifically vacation rentals. As you all know we pride ourselves in having a meticulously kept brand new 2022 travel trailer. It is a home away from home to all that have had the experience to stay in it.
Vacation rental is really a black and white world- one guest can be in it and when it is returned you would never know anyone stayed in it. On the polar opposite side, we have also had guests in it that have disrespected our property. It has taken a lot of time, energy, and money to restore it to its meticulous conditions time and time again. The mental strain and worry is very great on our end as owners because we are also empathetic to our guests by nature. We are not people to want to take a security deposit but we have now been in two separate predicaments where we have had to take our guests security deposits and the amount does not even equal the damages caused. This is me being completely transparent with you all, my audience, guests, and friends. This is a brand new camper with the most up to date technology, that being said we now feel that it is not the best choice to use for short term rentals- the cost to replace things in a new model is of course much more expensive than in an older model camper.
Our camper is currently out on its last reservation. After July we will no longer be offering vacation rentals for our 2022 KZ Connect- instead it will be parked and rented out long term (before we receive any inquiries we have already found a long term tenant)!
Moving forward, we will be taking the rest of the summer and fall to grow our business. We will be purchasing ANOTHER camper and renovating it ourselves. We will then be able to open our books once again and host our very appreciated guests 🙏 I will be sharing the entire process through this page as we gear up for the next chapter 🌞
