Today we’re recognizing one of our own — Raymond Barthle, who was honored as the NASTC Driver of the Year in 2021. 🏆

Raymond represents what Schwend is all about: professionalism, safety, and pride in every mile driven. We are proud to have drivers like him as part of our team and our history.

On October 8th of this year, Raymond will be celebrating 22 years with Schwend!!

From the early days on the road, one thing has stayed constant... hauling with pride. Some of our older trucks and pneumatic trailers were built for hard work, long days, and getting the job done no matter what.

Those early units helped lay the foundation for everything Schwend is today. Every mile they covered tells part of the story of 50 years in trucking.

Over the years, Schwend Logistics has been more than just a workplace... it’s been a place full of celebrations, laughter, and memories.

From team-building events to birthday parties and baby showers, there’s always been a reason to gather together. And of course… no celebration would be complete without a few pranks on our company president, Jeff. 😅

Over the years, Schwend has had a few unofficial employees helping boost morale... as well as pets along for the ride on the road!

Whether they were greeting visitors, supervising snack breaks, or just demanding attention during the workday, they've always helped make the office and our drivers' trucks, feel a little more like home!

Sometimes the best coworkers have four legs. 🐾

Running a trucking company means meetings can happen anywhere… and apparently Jeff and Joanna Schwend take that very seriously. 😅

Over the years, there have been plenty of “important meetings” held in some pretty questionable locations..... proving that dedication to the business never takes a day off!

After 50 years, one thing hasn’t changed: hard work, laughter, and making memories along the way.
