Some places are more than a destination—they become part of the story of the people who call the neighborhood home. That’s exactly how I feel every time I visit Centennial Park. Thanks to City of University Park, TX - Government
There’s something special about walking through the park, taking in the peaceful atmosphere, admiring the beautiful gazebo, and reading the commemorative bricks that honor families, local businesses, and the people who have helped shape this community over the years. Every brick represents a story, a legacy, and a reminder that strong neighborhoods are built by people who genuinely care about one another.
Great job University Park - Parks & Recreation
In a world that often feels rushed, Centennial Park is a place where you can slow down for a while. It’s where neighbors still smile and say hello, children create memories that will last a lifetime, and families gather to celebrate life’s special moments. It reflects the pride, history, and sense of belonging that make this community such a wonderful place to call home.
I’m especially honored that DFWVIPSERVICES has a Centennial brick permanently installed here. Seeing our business recognized alongside so many others is incredibly meaningful because it represents more than a name—it represents our commitment to serving people, supporting our community, and building lasting relationships. It’s a reminder that every business has the opportunity to leave a positive impact beyond the services it provides.
The next time you’re in the area, I encourage you to take a stroll through Centennial Park. Spend a few moments at the gazebo, read the names etched into the commemorative bricks, and take in the history that surrounds you. You might even come across the DFWVIPSERVICES brick. If you do, I hope it sparks your curiosity to learn more about who we are and why supporting our community has always been one of our greatest priorities.
Great neighborhoods aren’t built overnight—they’re built through kindness, shared experiences, local businesses, and neighbors who continue investing in one another. Centennial Park is a beautiful reminder of that, and I’m grateful to be a small part of its continuing story.
