Business Jet Cares Dallas' premier FBO, Business Jet Center, is committed to giving back to the community through special events and the ongoing projects of their non-profit.

After years of ongoing events geared towards giving back to our veterans and the community, Business Jet Center founded Business Jet Cares, Inc. The ultimate goal is to utilize this platform to facilitate these ongoing efforts and increase the success of each charity event. Giving back with Golf…. It all began in 2013 with the 1st Annual, Cleared to Land on the Green, Charity Golf Tournament. The

event proved to be a success and raised $20,000 which was donated to two separate veteran charities. In the following years, the tournament sold out on golfers and momentum continued to increase. In 2016, Cleared to Land on the Green raised $40,000 for Fisher House Foundation and Folds of Honor, bringing the grand total to over $100k donated to these and similar veteran charities, since conception. Tis’ the Season…. In December of 2014, the annual company Christmas party was pushed aside and the budgeted funds for that event were allocated to a new idea to select 10 families from Dallas and the surrounding areas, and provide them with ‘A Christmas to Remember’. Each employee, along with BJC customers, adopted and purchased gifts for a child from each family. Along with these gifts, monetary donations from Business Jet Center went towards the purchase of gift cards, housing assistance for a homeless couple, weekend family retreats and living essentials for families. The following year, 10 families were again selected. As in 2014, gifts were donated for all of the children, and other surprises included assistance with moving expenses, family museum memberships, bunk-beds, and for one special family with a houseful of children, BJC employees spent an entire day making over two of the bedrooms in the home! This past year, in conjunction with the centennial anniversary of Dallas Love Field, over 100 families were treated with a special Christmas that included breakfast with Santa and gifts for all of the children in each family. Did you know 1.2 million deaths could be prevented each year if families across the world had access to clean water? Our Business Jet Family has partner with Serve Hope International to help with just that. In the month of July, we’re serving Serve Hope coffee at our FBO that will provide 33 families with over 20 years of clean water!

2020 has been a whirlwind of a year, but what an amazing way to end it! We are so excited to have been able to provide A Christmas to Remember for five families in Dallas who needed a little extra support. We are so excited that our friends at Business Jet Cares are supporting Patriot PAWS again this year at their 7th Annual Cleared to Land on the Green Charity Golf Tournament on November 15, 2019.

The Scramble Format Tournament, which also supports the amazing mission of Folds of Honor, is held at Cowboys Golf Club and kicks off with a gourmet breakfast, followed by a putting and chipping contest. Golfers then hit the course for a 10:00 am shotgun start. There's lots of on-course games and competitions at each hole, and plenty of giveaways, snacks, and specialty drinks throughout the day. Of course, we will bring puppies to the course for photo ops and meet and greets! An awards ceremony, silent auction and dinner wraps up the day.
