Spirit Airlines Cuts Service to Five More Cities! ❌

“Thank you to our partners and Guests in these communities for their support over the years,” a spokesperson with Spirit Airlines wrote.

The airline said starting Jan. 8, 2026, Spirit will no longer be at . The low-cost carrier announced the changes Monday as part of a broader restructuring plan that will also pull flights out of , , and . Additionally, service from will no longer be in , , on Jan. 13, 2026.

These latest exits bring Spirit's total airport departures to 18 destinations since filing for bankruptcy protection. The airline previously withdrew from 11 airports, including major West Coast markets like , , , and %SanDiego, as well as newer additions like , , and , .

Those who planned to travel with Spirit in 2026 will be contacted by the airline for possible refunds or other arrangements.
