We are looking for Seasonal Tax Preparers to join our team. We are looking to hire a part-time Seasonal Tax Advisor / Tax Preparer. Seasonal Tax Preparers work a flexible work schedule during the Filing Season from late January to April 15 and again during the period from early August until October 15.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for personal clients

• Research fundamental tax issues

• Communicate with tax clients to obtain information needed to complete tax returns

• Provide resolution for client deficiency notices from tax authorities

• Tax return delivery including explaining return results

• One year of tax preparation experience

• Impeccable math skills

• Familiarity with tax software

Qualifications:

• Recent experience in business and personal tax preparation.

As a Seasonal Tax Advisor / Tax Preparer, you help us to maintain our high levels of service during the busy tax season. As the second point of contact for clients who are getting their taxes done, you advise them on the tax preparation process as well as prepare and file their tax documents. Much of your time is spent reviewing tax documents, entering data, and speaking with clients.

You also take incoming calls about tax matters from clients. Your passion for helping people, dedication to accuracy, and awareness of details help you excel in this position.

You ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling. And you get great satisfaction out of helping to expand our client base through the referrals made by your happy clients!

This tax preparation position earns $10.00 - $14.00/hour or commission only, depending on experience.

Admin Associate will need to provide customer service to all retail customers, including business owners, corporate professionals, and busy families.

He or she will operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminators, and cash registers, among other daily tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and fulfills the needs of walk-in customers and telephone/email inquiries

Communicates effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadership

Empathizes and manages demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience.

Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions

Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents

Manages the logistics of small to medium projects, follows through to completion, and updates all parties as needed

Produces/designs, proofs, and updates materials for print projects using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others

Prioritizes and optimizes the work load to streamline the production flow

Frequently multi-tasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control

Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment

Takes action to learn NEW products, services, alternative solutions, and industry trends as well as occasionally reviewing/retraining on lesser used services.

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required

Customer service experience in a UPS Store, Office Depot, FedEx, or similar business experience a plus.

graphic design/print production experience a plus.

Strong computer skills and demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge and application of printing concepts

Good communication and people skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
