This year, for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, the UN is highlighting the growing trend of criminal organizations deceiving victims with job offers, then forcefully imprisoning them to conduct wide-scale cybercrime. Stopping human trafficking partially lies in understanding the tactics being used to access more victims; the more awareness the general public has about schemes being utilized, the less likely they or someone they know will fall victim.
