Happy Easter from your TLC Family!

Thought I would share some tips to Keep Your Pets Safe During Easter.... Well everyday:

- Avoid giving your pets chocolate as it can cause seizures, hyperactivity, & an elevated heart rate. Keep it out of their reach @ all times.
- Keep Easter grass away from your pets as they may chew on it, which can be harmful if ingested. Use safer alternatives like tissue paper.
- Be cautious of products containing xylitol, which can lead to a sudden drop in blood sugar, seizures, & liver failure if ingested by your pets.
- Easter lilies are toxic to cats, so ensure they are kept in a place where your feline friends cannot access them.
- Beware of Easter eggs, make sure your pets do not find & consume hidden eggs, especially those containing chocolate.
- Avoid feeding your pets table scraps as they can contain harmful ingredients & may lead to health issues like stomach upset or obesity.
- Keep toys that are not specifically designed for pets out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion.
- During gatherings or parties, keep your pets away from open doors to prevent them from escaping outside.
- Be mindful of certain foods like raisins, grapes, onions, garlic, & macadamia nuts that are toxic to pets & should not be fed to them.

By following these safety tips, you can help protect your pets from potential hazards in your home during Easter & throughout the year.
