You'll run regional routes pulling 53' dry vans and reefers, with primarily no-touch, drop-and-hook freight. So you spend less time wrestling straps and more time making money. We run regionally from Danville, IL, and are NOT OTR.

The pay speaks for itself: experienced drivers start at $0.58 per mile, apprentices at $0.38, and increase to $0.63 after six months and $0.68 after a year. And the extras add up fast: additional compensation for stops, backhauls, detention, layovers, and trailer stops, plus Driver of the Month bonuses on top of your mileage.

🚛 NEW CDL GRADUATES — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU! 🚛

Youhas Trucking is excited to announce the launch of our Driver Development Apprenticeship Program for recent CDL graduates!

We believe earning your CDL is only the beginning. Truck driving is a career that truly has to be learned hands-on, and new drivers deserve more than being handed the keys and told, “Good luck.”

Our new drivers will complete a 3-week, approximately 120-hour supervised training program with an experienced driver trainer before being released to operate independently.

During the program, trainees will gain real-world experience with:

✅ Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
✅ Backing and maneuvering in real customer environments
✅ Docking and trailer positioning
✅ Smith System defensive driving principles
✅ ELDs, paperwork and proper documentation
✅ Hours of Service and trip planning
✅ Customer procedures and expectations
✅ Local and regional freight
✅ Safe highway, city and yard driving
✅ Building the confidence needed to operate independently

This is real freight, real customers and real training — not sitting in a classroom watching videos.

This is a paid apprenticeship with the opportunity to transition into regular driving positions with Youhas Trucking as openings are available.

Our goal is simple: develop safer, more confident professional drivers and help bridge the gap between CDL school and the real trucking industry.

We will only accept a limited number of trainees at a time so each driver receives the individual attention and seat time they need.
