Last night my grandson and I were just riding and found the movie going on the east end beach! During the summer, movies are Thursday and Friday nights at sunset on the east end beach! I forget but I will try to remember to post the schedule before next Thursday! We had Marley with us and no leash so we couldn’t stay but next time…!! Then this morning, we went to the sand sculpting competition also on the east end beach!! Dauphin Island has many events for families to enjoy!

I delivered a cart recently to some nice folks who flew into the Dauphin Island airport from Pensacola to go eat! I love watching planes land and take off, especially when I can help them with transportation around Dauphin Island! Even before the golf cart rental business, we often had people walking from/to the airport on our street and always offered them a ride if we were available. We’ve met some really nice people by doing that!

While I was waiting for this customer’s plane to arrive, I met another nice couple visiting the island from the Chicago area, who were parked at the airport while bird watching!
