Good morning!
I've been watching the weather report closely. It looks like we are all clear for our giveaway this week (finally!).
The plan is to start set up on Thursday, May 28th, around 9:30. There's a lot of stuff, and I'll most likely be working alone, so I won't have everything out until the afternoon.
If you want to help set up, come on over and help 😊

Reminder that our giveaway has been postponed due to the potential rain. I'll keep you updated once we get a break in the weather.
In the meantime, if anyone wants to help out with general needs, the blessing box can always use bottled water.

Now, it's obviously dependent on the weather, but the blessing box is planning to have a giveaway on Thursday, May 21.
We have clothing, shoes, a few toys, and some household items.
If you want to come look, I hope to have everything out around 11.
If you want to help with setup, please be here at 8:30a.m. (helpers get first look at the items, so that's a perk!)
If you have anything to donate, please drop it off by Wednesday.

We are so excited to share that our storage problem has been resolved! The wall is finished!
With warmer weather, we are in need of bottled water.
We have not settled on a date for our giveaway, but it will be in the next few weeks. So, if you've got anything to donate, just drop it off.

Good morning! I hope you are all having a blessing filled day.
Speaking of blessings, we have some fantastic news. Earlier this year, we had gotten a notice from the township regarding the storage of donations. We put a pause on clothing donations while we worked to find a solution.
So many folks within the community reached out with suggestions and advice.
There is a wall being built in our carport, to create a storage area. I truly cannot put into words how grateful we are to the folks at Premier Plumbing for making this happen. Not only are they great with plumbing, but they are genuinely nice people.
We are hoping to have a Day of Giving in the next few weeks. If you have any clothing, household items, toys, furniture, etc that you no longer need, please consider donating it here.

Happy Spring Equinox!
I don't know about you, but I am ready for some sunlight.
Earlier this year, we had gotten a code enforcement notice from our township. We put a pause on accepting donations for our giveaways, as we were unsure what was going to happen.
Well, a plan is in place for storage of the donations that we receive! We are hoping to have a giveaway in late April. So, while your pulling out clothes for the warmer weather, or spring cleaning in general, keep us in mind for all the things that you no longer need. Those items could be a blessing to someone else.

Good evening friends!
It's been a busy week. I wanted to stop in and give an update to our storage/code enforcement situation.
So many have reached out with suggestions. We are so thankful for the support, ideas, and much more.
We are looking at possible ways to keep serving the community and be compliant with the township codes. The code enforcement officer has been very kind and understanding. She has been extremely cooperative and has offered us some guidance. She has also said that everyone at the township office appreciates what we do for the community.
We need to get clarification from the guy who approves permits to see if our top option is acceptable or if it needs to be a little more in depth.
I will keep everyone informed. Fingers crossed that we can make this happen!
