Airport Management Club at Embry-Riddle Student chapter affiliated with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and Florida Airports Council (FAC) Our mission is:

1.

We are a student chapter that is affiliated with American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the Florida Airports Council (FAC). To promote professional development and instill professional attitudes in students engaged in the study of airport development, administration, management and operation or in related fields of aviation.

2. To develop understanding on the part of the student th

at professional airport management embodies technical ability, responsibility, purpose and a desire to contribute to the strengthening of the profession.

3. To further the purposes and programs of the AAAE as expressed in the constitution and Bylaws of the American Association of Airports Executives, and to further the purposes and programs of the FAC

This past weekend, the Airport Management Club visited the Fort Myers International Airport as well as the Orlando International Airport! Expect pictures soon, including photos from the Jacksonville Int'l Airport tour from the beginning of the month.

I was at San Diego International Airport last night watching the installation of pedestrian skybridges as part of The Green Build (opening in 2013). Here's a short video as the West skybridge makes its way across the pedestrian crosswalk outside of the terminal. ^EH
