I didn’t try every vegan item available at this year’s Food & Wine Festival (still picky at 25) but here are my thoughts on what I did try.

1. Chili Cheese Mac & Cheese from Macatizers - 5/5 ⭐️ - I got this 3 times and would happily eat it every day for the rest of my life. I need this on a permanent menu asap.

2. Potato and Pea Samosas from India - 4/5 ⭐️ - these were very good (quite large and filling for a festival item). I wish the spice was more on the sweet side than spicy.

3. Guava Cake from Shimmering Sips - 4/5 ⭐️ - I get this every year and forget I don’t like guava until I suddenly remember after the first bite. Would be perfect as like a strawberry flavor lmao.

4. Impossible Montreal Style Slider from Flavors from Fire - 3/5 ⭐️ - mine was very charred and idk if that was on purpose or not.

5. Tofu Ramen from the Noodle Exchange - 0/5 ⭐️ - I would give it negative stars if I could. The flavors and textures were actually repulsive. Very vinegary, very slimy. Not for me and I’m actually offended you would think so.

I pulled up a sample quote for 2 FL Res the week of 9/23 for a fun Harry Potter centric staycation. 3 nights at Endless Summer Dockside, with early theme park admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and travel protection for cancellations of any reason. Also enjoy 2 days of breakfasts at Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks and of course rides on the Hogwarts Express to travel from Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure with access to both parks via the FL Res 2-Park Park-to-Park ticket which includes unlimited entry to both parks from purchase date until December 18th!!! 😱 All for only $403 per person - this would honestly be worth it just for the theme park tickets alone! Optional add-ons available for a scoop at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlor and a private photo session at Shutterbutton’s Photography Studio.

The frozen version available in the cart in Hogsmeade is sure to cool you off on a hot Florida day. Tip: stop into Leaky Cauldron or Three Broomsticks to try butterbeer with a vegan foam topping (only available at these locations, the foam topping at the cart contains dairy).

Here’s a quick guide to some of the vegan options at quick service restaurants in Disney World. Stars on my favorites, of course. ✨

Vegan options are clearly labelled with “plant-based” on the My Disney Experience app and they are always accommodating for any food allergies or restrictions. If you ever have questions, ask the host for an allergy menu or an ingredients list.
