Thank you Chase Newton Clark for the business. Installed new pods and splash guards. Also had a lot of transom work to do. I ended having to cut out two large holes to get the foam out in order to remove the foam and jb weld. Once I got all that removed I could make nice clean welds. If you own a aluminum boat never use JB weld or other products as such. Made good use of the area the foam was removed and made storage compartments.

Going through old pictures tonight. Here’s a picture of the very first boat I worked on. This was in 1981. My pap and I built this boat together, I probably got in the way more than anything since I was only 5 years old. He bought this Lowe brand new. Brought it home and gutted the boat. He installed a Berkeley jet pump and small block Buick in it. At this time period the only jets you’d see were the old Mercury’s with red pumps. A lot louder and slower than the newer ones. Caught a lot of fish out of this boat on the Allagany river. This boat would run through 3 inches of water not bad for a home built boat. Sure would love to have this back.
