Nero Ascension’s August Full Weekend Event
Welcome everyone to the information document on Nero Ascension’s first full weekend event that will be held over August 18th to August 20th 2017.
Signing Up:
We are asking people to please sign up on our Facebook!

We are also requesting people please sign up on Nero.World, if we do not have you signed up there, we will not be able to print out your character card, thus you must play a pre-made 50 build character at the event. So please sign up for the event at the links below.

Times:
You can come up to site at 3pm on Friday, August 18. We request that you are not up any earlier then that as we only have the site starting then.
Logistics: 8/18/17 at 4pm
Game Start: 8/18/17 at 5pm right after opening announcements (if you are not in game at this time, please put a white head band on to signify you are OOC/OOG and do not distract from others.)
Game End: 8/20/17 at 12pm
Off-site: 8/20/17 at 1pm (if you do not think you can get offsite in an hour, please plan accordingly as we will only have the site until 1pm.)

Take Highway 85 to Ault, Colorado, then take Highway 14 east for 23 miles.
Information Given by Leaser:
• No RV water connections are available.
• This is bear country! For bear and human safety, keep a clean campsite and do not place food or other attractants in your tent. For more information about visiting bear country, contact Colorado Parks and Wildlife at http://wildlife.state.co.us
• Off-road vehicle use is prohibited within campground
• Shooting, archery and fireworks are prohibited
• Extra parking is not available

• Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.

We also will not have any place to plug in fans, or heaters. Please plan accordingly.
Shelter:
This is a tent-camping event. This means you need to bring all the means necessary for you to be warm, dry and safe by means on tent (which means no RVs, pop-ups, etc). NERO Ascension will not be providing tents for this event.
Firewood and Dangers:
We do not know if Firewood will be allowed at this time. We will let you know at the opening announcements. Please plan food accordingly.
This is Bear Country. Please stash food accordingly to avoid a surprise in your tent that hits harder than a Goblin. If the cars are close enough, it might be a good idea to hide food within there. There is wild animals out here, please be careful.
What to Bring:
• Street clothes: cold, temperate and warm.
• LARP clothes: cold, temperate and warm.
• Tent
• Blankets and Pillows
• LARP Items
• Food: snack and food provisions (some food may be provided for, TBD)
• And any other supplies that fit within the rules that you find necessary.
