Goodbye, August. Hello, September!

We’re stepping into a new month with plenty to celebrate. August was a phenomenal month for our team, placing us in the Top 15 in our region and level with Cruise Planners for sales and service.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients continue to place in us, and we’re excited to serve travelers throughout DeRidder, Lake Charles, and communities across Southwest Louisiana.

I’m so excited to congratulate Hallie Guidry Cruise Planners, one of our associate travel advisors, on a pretty incredible next step in her hospitality career!

Hallie has accepted a position with Loews Hotels & Co. as a Guest Service Supervisor at Universal Helios Grand Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort.

This is such a great opportunity for her to continue growing in the hospitality and tourism industry, gain even more hands-on experience, and be right in the middle of one of the most exciting destinations in travel.

And I have to say, having an associate on our team who is working directly in hospitality at Universal Orlando is pretty exciting for us, too. That kind of firsthand experience, destination knowledge, and understanding of the guest experience is invaluable when helping clients plan their own vacations.

Hallie, I’m proud of you and so excited to see where this next chapter takes you. Congratulations on this very well-deserved opportunity!

And for those who haven’t met Hallie yet, you’ll be seeing more of her exciting adventures and experiences in Orlando. We’re very happy to have her as part of the Cruise Planners of Southwest Louisiana team.
