Get to know Jeff Wolf, Transit Division Manager in Davenport. 🚌🏙️

Wolf’s path into public transit began through public service and problem-solving. Starting as a Clerk for the City of Davenport, he supported Public Works operations before moving into FEMA reimbursement recordkeeping, environmental grant applications, and eventually transit grant management during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as occasional support for the transit division gradually became his full-time role in public transportation.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys learning, traveling, and seeking out new experiences.

Reflecting on the mentors who have influenced him, Jeff shared, “One lesson that they all taught in their own way was that in order to succeed you must prepare.” He adds, “In life, luck is nothing more than preparation meeting opportunity.” That philosophy continues to guide his approach to both work and life.
