Ballpark Review: Browns Point Elementary
(Tacoma, WA)
Overall: ⭐️⭐️ 2.5/5
Slightly above average- not the best, not the worst. There was this random patch of turf for spectators down the baseline- you would close it off to the dugout side, but it was exposed to both fields outfields. If there was a gate and roof I’d rate it a 5- think one giant safely covered play pen that you could actually watch the game from!
Cleanliness: 5
The park itself was clean
Play Structure: 4
Looked like a fun structure- especially for littles. We didn’t go over there because it was too far from the fields. Lots of blacktop to ride on, but again, very far from where we were.
Pathways: 3
Easy for strollers and wagons, plus kids could ride bikes and scooters, but very short between fields before it runs into a gravel path. All the way around fields is not easily accessible.
Bathrooms: 1
1 port-o-potty very far from the field outside the gates. Don’t even use it.
Fields: 2 (player rated)
Turf infield, grass outfield. Outfield is VERY rough
Sense of Security: 5
The baseball fields are tucked by themselves with only baseball families around. The park looked to have a few families from local neighborhood.
Parking: 4.5
Ample parking, but a short hike to the fields.
