A military plane at a gas station? βοΈ
Meet The Fabulous Flamingo, one of the strangest road-going vehicles youβre likely to come across.
The motorhome was created using the fuselage of a 1940s military aircraft, with the wings removed and the body mounted onto a truck chassis.
The result is a roughly 38-foot-long, 17,000-pound vehicle that combines part airplane, part truck, and part RV, and yes, itβs street-legal.
It was created by former U.S. Air Force serviceman Gino Lucci and his family, turning an old aircraft fuselage into something that could travel the country from the ground instead of the sky.
Would you take this on a road trip?
