Motor Carriers – Mandatory biennial DOT Update!

Motor Carries, do you know that you MUST update your DOT every 2 years? Whether you have a new address, phone, email, number of trucks, trailers, drivers or everything is the same and there is nothing to update, you must actually update your DOT every 2 years!

In accordance with FMCSA MCS-150 regulation 49 CFR Part §390.19, every two years all motor carriers are required to update their MCS-150 information with the FMCSA. This update must be completed in the appropriate month, every even or odd year, based on your DOT #, even if none of your information has changed, and regardless of when you last updated.

The FMCSA requires that all Interstate entities perform an update every two years, even if there have been no changes.
