SMART brought Halloween joy to Dearborn Heights with a festive Trunk‑or‑Treat.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank‑you to the Wayne County Community Affairs Ombudsperson (), who provided on‑site outreach and helped connect families with resources throughout the event and to our incredible Wayne Terminal staff who volunteered their time and energy.

Events like this remind us that we’re more than transportation. We’re neighbors, partners, and part of the heart of Wayne County. 🚍

🚌 Thank You, County, Michigan! ❤️

SMART is grateful for the continued support of Wayne County and the communities we serve. Together, we’re building stronger connections and creating more opportunities to get where you need to go. Staying connected means more than riding the bus, it means having a voice in the future of transit.

The SMART Sounding Board meets virtually every second Wednesday of the month and gives riders, transit advocates and community members an opportunity to share their opinions, concerns and ideas directly with SMART.

SMART also holds Board of Directors meetings that are open to the public, with opportunities for public participation and written comments.

Stay involved. Stay informed. Help shape the future of transit.
