The world's foremost accomplished Hydrogen scientist, Dr Addison Bain, has passed away on 22 January 2025 at 89 years of age.
Please visit the following legacy link to read Add's obituary as it briefly tells the story of an amazing man, with an amazing life who remained a humble fellow who just loved his work, his family, his country and his roots in Northwest Montana where as a child under October skies might not yet have imagined his work would one day help put American astronauts in space ultimately to land on the moon and return safely.

The H2Rescue truck set a record, traveling 1,806 miles (2,906 km) on one tank of hydrogen. Built by Accelera (Cummins) with DOE support, it’s designed for disaster relief and emergencies.

Powered by a Cummins Accelera fuel cell engine and a 250-kilowatt motor, the truck used 168 kg (370 lbs) of hydrogen from its 175 kg (386 lb) tank. It traveled at 50–55 mph (80–89 km/h) on public roads, emitting only water.

The trip saved 664 lbs (301 kg) of CO2 compared to a gasoline truck, says the DOE. It can provide 25kW of power for 72 hours without refueling.

Weighing 33,000 lbs (14,969 kg), the truck carries supplies to disaster zones, produces 1 gallon (3.8 liters) of water per hour, and could save 1,825 gallons (6,908 liters) of gasoline yearly, reducing emissions by 2.5 metric tons.

Fuel-cell train travels more than 1,700 miles on one tank of hydrogen

A hydrogen fuel-cell passenger train developed by Swiss rail vehicle maker Stadler Rail has achieved a new Guinness World Record, traveling for almost two days around the clock for a distance of 1,741.7 miles.

29 Years ago today, our founder Justin Eric Sutton began a journey like none other. On March 19th 1995 he began a seven year long R&D program to prepare for publication in 2002 to achieve two Unanimous Resolutions by the State of Michigan House and Senate.
