Sip & Soul Wine & Wellness Retreats are experiences designed for women ready to pause their daily routines and reconnect with themselves, each other, and what truly matters.

Our inaugural Willamette Valley Retreat brought seven women to Oregon w**e country right in the middle of harvest. 🍇

At Celestial Hill Vineyards, every cluster was picked by hand. We watched the pickers ease each bucket of grapes into the half-ton bins, and the fruit went to processing within a few hours of leaving the vine. At Knudsen Vineyards, machine and hand crews were working at the same time, so we got to see both ways they bring their harvest in.

Durant Vineyards surprised us with a tour of their olive oil mill and a bonus tasting. My favorite pour of the whole trip may not have been a w**e at all. Their Lime Cilantro Chili Olive Oil. YUM!

Our finale dinner was at Abbey Road Farm. Dessert was a poached pear paired with their 2025 Estate Sparkling Mondeuse, and the match was perfect.

This is how we gather.
This is how we savor.
This is how we restore.

Next up is New York’s Finger Lakes in the Summer of 2027. Interested in our waitlist, drop a DM or comment WAITLIST here

Rain on the windows. Fallen leaves crunching underfoot. The first real chill of autumn.

Sir Sip-a-Lot has traded the patio for a seat by the fire, with a glass of orange w**e in hand.

October's featured w**e has a little more character than you might expect from a white grape.

Orange w**e gets its amber color from extended contact with grape skins during fermentation. That same process can give it the texture and tannins we typically associate with red w**e.

One thing worth knowing: Orange w**es vary enormously. Some are light, floral, and refreshing. Others are deeply amber, earthy, and almost savory.

For a cool fall afternoon, Sir Sip-a-Lot recommends trying a more textured orange w**e alongside roasted mushrooms, aged Gouda, or a savory squash tart.

His advice? Ask your w**e merchant for a skin-contact white with a little tannin and depth. You'll discover just how different two orange w**es can be.

Have you found an orange w**e you'd buy again?

An Easy Bit and the Perfect Pour

Orange W**e & Whipped Feta with Honey

Orange w**e's textured, slightly tannic character pairs beautifully with creamy, salty cheeses and a touch of sweetness.

The Pairing: Whipped Feta with Honey, Pistachios & Fresh Herbs
Blend feta with a little Greek yogurt and olive oil until creamy. Spread onto a plate, drizzle with honey, and finish with chopped pistachios, fresh thyme, and a sprinkle of lemon zest. Serve with warm pita or crackers.

Why it works: The feta's saltiness, honey's sweetness, and fresh herbs complement the citrusy, savory notes often found in orange w**e.

Easy, elegant, and ready in about 10 minutes-perfect for your next glass of something adventurous!

When was the last time you did absolutely nothing for ten minutes?

No phone. No emails. No planning your next move. Just ten minutes to yourself.

We fill our days with so much activity that even our breaks become opportunities to get something done.

Here's a little challenge for this week.

Try the 10-Minute Reset.

Find a comfortable spot outdoors, perhaps on your patio, in a nearby park, or somewhere you can enjoy a little fresh air.

Put your phone away. Take a few slow breaths. Notice the sounds around you, the temperature of the air, and the colors of the season.

Resist the temptation to turn this into another task.

The purpose isn't to accomplish anything. It's to give your attention a rest.

Here's the challenge: Find ten minutes this week to do absolutely nothing.

Do you think that would be easy for you, or surprisingly difficult?

With dessert, the w**e should be sweeter than the food.

This is one of the most useful pairing rules, and few people know it. When dessert is sweeter than the w**e, the w**e tastes thin, sour, and sometimes bitter, even if it’s lovely on its own. That’s why a dry red with chocolate cake often disappoints.

Pick a w**e that’s at least as sweet as the dessert, such as a Moscato d’Asti, a late-harvest Riesling, or a Port. You can also choose a dessert that’s only lightly sweet, like a poached pear, which gives drier w**es room to shine.

On our Willamette Valley Retreat, we enjoyed Abbey Road Farm’s 2025 Estate Sparkling Mondeuse with a poached pear dessert. The pairing was perfect, and its gorgeous fuchsia color made it a party in a glass.

A MONTH LATER… AND WE'RE STILL THINKING ABOUT WILLAMETTE VALLEY.

There are souvenirs you bring home.

And then there are the ones that take you right back to a moment.

Our custom Willamette Valley Keepsake Journal was created so our guests could hold onto more than names and dates. Favorite w**es. Meals shared around the table. Places they want to return to. Little discoveries. New friendships. And perhaps even a few things they discovered about themselves along the way.

We love imagining these journals sitting on a coffee table months, or years, from now, being opened and suddenly transporting someone back to those beautiful September days in Oregon w**e country.

Ultimately, that's what Sip & Soul is about. Not simply taking a trip. It's slowing down enough to actually remember it.

Here's to the places we've been, the people we've met, and the memories we're still savoring.

Sir Sip-A-Lot checking in. 🍷

New season, new suit, new w**e. I’ve traded my lighter look for something a little more autumn-appropriate. I have to say, orange looks rather good on me. 🍂

I figured if the leaves can change colors for fall, so can I. Naturally, a new look called for a new suit.

Dapper? I think so. Cheers! 🍷🍂

This week, we will feature a cozy recipe that pairs beautifully with our W**e of the Month, Orange W**e. This creamy Pumpkin & Sage pasta brings together pumpkin, parmesan, crispy sage & toasted walnuts for a fall dinner that's surprisingly simple to make.

Recipe in the first comment. Bon appetit!

WELLNESS WEDNESDAY 🍂 | Let Something Go

Fall has a way of reminding us that letting go can be beautiful. The trees release what has run its course and make room for what comes next, and there’s something worth taking from that.

We all carry things longer than we need to, whether it’s an expectation, a commitment or simply the feeling that we should have everything figured out.

As the season changes, give yourself permission to let go of something that feels a little too heavy and make room for something new. 🍂🍷

W**e of the Month: Orange W**e

This month we’re introducing Orange W**e, and here’s something you may not know... 🍊

Despite the name, orange w**e isn’t made from oranges.

It’s made from white w**e grapes, but instead of removing the grape skins before fermentation, the juice ferments with the skins, similar to how red w**e is made.

That extra skin contact is what gives the w**e its beautiful golden, amber, or copper color. It also creates a completely different experience in the glass.

Depending on the grapes and how it’s made, orange w**e can offer flavors ranging from dried fruit and citrus peel to herbs, spice, tea, and nuttier, more savory notes. It can also have more texture and tannin than you’d typically expect from a white w**e.

With those gorgeous amber hues and layers of flavor, it feels especially fitting as we head into fall. 🍂

✨ White grapes. Red-w**e technique. A completely different expression. Another beautiful example of just how fascinating w**e can be.
