The 56th annual Harvest Time Parade returns during Autumn on Parade, bringing marching bands, local organizations, businesses, performers and plenty of ā€œAutumn Anticsā€ through downtown Oregon.

RMTDā€™s Greyhound Connect Western Route gives you a straight shot through Davenport, Moline, Dixon, Rochelle, DeKalb/NIU, Naperville/Aurora and Chicago.

Effective this morning, Tuesday, September 29, Reagan Mass Transit District is beginning a trial of an AI Assistant in partnership with our passenger scheduling software provider.

Individuals who call 815-288-2117 will be greeted by an AI Assistant that can assist with a variety of tasks, including providing information about upcoming rides, sharing estimated vehicle arrival times, and cancelling trips. Callers may also request to schedule a ride, at which point they will be transferred to a member of our Dispatch team for assistance.

The AI Assistant trial will run through Friday, October 9.

We appreciate the publicā€™s patience, understanding, and support throughout this trial as we explore potential improvements to our system and services. Thank you for helping us as we evaluate this new technology and work to better serve our passengers.

The Paw Paw Festival is this weekend! (In Paw Paw of course) For those who don't know, the paw paw is a native North American fruit with a creamy texture and a tropical flavor often compared to banana and mango. It's kind of amazing it grows right here in Illinois!
