UNWANTED FOR 335 DAY Miami-Dade Animal Services 💔💔

PLEASE READ HIS STORY because it’s important!

Hi kind people, can you please read my story. You are my last hope😢 You may already know I was adopted from this shelter in 2019. What you don’t know is what I endured during those many years I was in my home. My human was not a nice person. I suffered terrible neglect and abuse. The only way I could protect myself was to run away and hope someone would save me. Well on April 1, 2023 that day came but unfortunately the person who found me was someone from the shelter that handed me over to the human who neglected me. I was found underweight with old lacerations to my head, a ruptured tumor on my tail, infested with fleas and heartworm positive. I was so scared my abusive human would come back and get me but thankfully that never happened. Sadly what also never happened was my second chance. 😢 My second chance to find a human who would love and protect me. My second chance to live in a home where I would feel safe and experience unconditional love. I’m afraid if no one helps me in the next few days it will be too late. The shelter finally acknowledged my existence and sent out a plea for help after so many months of never letting you know I was here. They said I’m getting “frustrated”. They said I get “excited when I leave my kennel”

I am 6 years old, 54lbs and I participated well in playgroups. (Low to moderate energy, engages in light play)
