The chaos that is my bus as I remodel my kitchen…again. One of my favorite things about living in a self converted bus is that when I tire of something, or something isn’t as functional as I thought it would be I can rip it out and start over. The second pic is my old kitchen counter stripped down and then the beautiful vintage sideboard I found that will be the new cabinet and an island that I am cutting down to a countertop.

Happy World Bee Day. 🐝

A day for the tiny workers keeping gardens blooming, orchards producing, and honey jars filled with that sweet stuff we like to call liquid gold.

Bees do a whole lot for something so small, and they somehow manage it without asking for applause, a paycheck, or a five-star review.

Honey has been loved for generations in kitchens, teas, herbal blends, and simple home remedies. Sweet, sticky, useful, and worth every bit of the fuss.

So today, the bees get their moment.

For the hard work, the sweetness, and the little bit of magic they bring to the world.
