Always do a proper pretrip.
Never remove your seatbelt, glasses, or any thing required on med card before officer sees you are legal. Never have your phone in hand. Keep your truck clean for faster inspections.

U.S. XPRESS Hiring Guidelines:

Must be atleast 21 years old, and have 3-12 months of verifiable experience, depending on the role. Applicants must pass a DOT physical and hair follicle/urine drug screen, with strict safety standards regarding accident history (no more than 1 in 2 years) and no DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.

General Driver Hiring Requirements:
License: Must have a valid Class A CDL.
Age: Minimum 21 years old.
Experience: Generally 3 months of verifiable experience, though some positions may require up to 1 year.
Safety Record: No more than 1 CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years; no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
Violations: No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
DUI/DWI Policy: No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years (or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL).
Background Check: Background checks are conducted

Health and Screening
Physical: Must pass a DOT physical, which includes testing for hearing, vision (corrected 20/40 or better), and blood pressure.
Drug Test: Pre-employment screening includes both urine and hair sample testing.
