Got IFTA? International Fuel Tax Agreement

A qualified carrier running interstate and intrastate loads is required to register for IFTA annually within their home state. This sticker indicates to the DOT officer who will inspect the validity and make sure you are in compliance. IFTA is a record keeping system between states that require the amount of mileage you run a load that you pay a % of that to the state. Quarterly payments in taxes is required. Many ELD’s (electronic logging device) will keep track of this and make filing your IFTA simple.
