Big Piney is 4.75 on the line at Long Pool, USGS gauge is reporting 4.1 & 2300 cfs. Indian Creek area just got hit with another hard rain this morning, so there’s that. We will watch for any change in levels. It’s going to be on the high side this weekend. We will rent boats to EXPERIENCED ADULTS ONLY, NO KIDS through the weekend, and we will reevaluate daily! We will be able do a few private shuttles. We will rent boats from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Big Piney is 5’. We had more rain overnight. We are not renting boats right now as we watch to see what it’s going to do.

We had a lot of rain in a short amount of time last night. Big Piney is over 4’ and rising. More storms & rain moving in shortly. No rentals today.

Nice morning, 65 degrees. Big Piney is 2’, which is low. We do have rain in the forecast, predicted to start this afternoon, we sure do need it. Tomorrow morning at this time looks even more promising! We will be closing at noon today so we can attend the funeral of Glen Helton.

On this Memorial Day we would like to remember & honor those who gave it all for this great country of ours! Big Piney is 2.1 this morning. Kayaks & canoes are still making it with not much trouble. We’ll be renting canoes & kayaks & running shuttles from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. today. Thanks, Ken Lederman for the amazing fireworks show last night! They just get better & better!

Big Piney is 2.3 this morning, low, but floatable. I think we may actually have a decent day ahead! It might be partly cloudy, but not seeing storms predicted to move through today or tomorrow! We will be renting boats & running shuttles from 9:30 until 2:00 p.m. Still a few tent spots open at the campground & 1 50-amp site for a camper. Ken will be shooting fireworks tonight, always a good show! You do have to pay to come in to the campground, $10 per person. Our side, THE BOAT ACCESS WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 p.m. tonight for the show. No vehicles allowed in to park after 3:00 p.m. & ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OUT BY 8:00 p.m.

This one hurts. Please keep Glen’s family in your prayers. His wife, Paulette, & the girls Michelle, Karla, & Yvonne & their families are going to miss him.

Glen was born on May 15th, 1943 and passed away on May 22nd, 2026 at the age of 83
