Hard to believe it's November already. I've been busy making limited edition holiday soaps. This is Winter Moon, a customer favorite. Also on the curing rack are Snow Shower and Joy! All three will be ready to ship on 11/12.

Thanks for all the well wishes from our West Chester Growers Market customers on our "retirement". Yes, we have retired from the market, but have not retired our business. Ellen April is alive and well on online at ellenapril.com. You can still order all your favorite soaps and body products and have them shipped directly to you. We also offer porch pickup at our home for our local customers who would rather avoid the shipping charge. Thanks for your loyalty. We have the best customers!

Four batches of soap made and curing. If you have been waiting for Rosemary Mint, it will be back after it cures for a month. Curing allows the saponification process to complete and excess water to slowly evaporate from cold process soap so it will become harder and more long lasting.

Just poured a new batch of our calendula balm. Made with calendula infused organic extra virgin olive oil, fair trade unrefined wild-crafted Shea butter plus a bevy of rich oils, natural vitamin E and a hint of lavender essential oil. We love this soft salve for minor skin irritations and especially for soothing rough dry winter skin.

January is catch-up time for us. Our holidays sales depleted many soap varieties and we are working hard to restock them. Our cold process soaps cure on the rack for a month, making them milder and longer lasting. Look for your favorites to be back in stock in February. Thanks for your patience!

Thank you to everyone who ordered over the holidays. We did not expect the volume of orders and sold out of many of our soaps. We are busy in the workshop after our holiday and all your favorites will be available soon.

A special thanks to our longtime market friends and customers. After being a member of West Chester Growers Market since 2003, we have made the difficult decision to not return to the market. We will miss you all. We will continue to offer our soap and body products online at ellenapril.com.

Many of our local customers have asked for an option to pickup their orders rather than have them shipped. We have finally worked out a system to allow contactless order pickup. I just finished bottling new batches of my Daily Face Lotion and Elixir Facial Serum. Next up, labeling.

I love both these luxurious products. I use them every day, year round to keep my face feeling soft and smooth. I never want to be without them, especially now that winter weather has arrived.
