Join Mayor August Christensen for a Community Conversation about the Runway Shift Project at the Driggs-Reed Memorial Airport 👉TOMORROW- Tuesday, June 24th - at 4 PM 👈 for an hour-long conversation about the upcoming construction phase that will close the Runway in both directions from 7/28/2025 through 8/26/2025.

âž¡ At the Forage/Warbirds parking lot, 253 Warbird Lane in Driggs (on the south side of the parking lot).

Ella B., redeemed her amazing prize flight over the weekend!!

Ella, a local high school student and Civil Air Patrol cadet, is currently studying aviation and learning to fly gliders. She entered ’s Raffle in June and WON a rare opportunity to fly in a 1941 N3N Warbird biplane. Ninety-Nines member Katie Krapes' husband Dillon Krapes was pilot for the flight, which was generously donated by the owner Richard "Doc" Sugdan. Funds raised from the raffle help the 99’s chapter continue their mission, which is: to promote the advancement of aviation through education, scholarships, and mutual support while honoring our unique history and sharing our passion for flight.

Everyone is invited to come out to the EAA chapter 1049‘s second annual Fly-In pancake breakfast! Meet at the Webber Museum at 8 AM for pancakes sponsored by theRotary. A few of our pilot ladies joined local Civil Air Patrol Cadet Major Mitzi Garnier at the Museum of Idaho last Thursday to attend her CAP presentation. Thank you for a wonderful and informative presentation Mitzi!

We also got to check out the museum's "Above & Beyond" and "Idaho Takes Flight" aviation exhibits. It was a fun afternoon in Idaho Falls.

Last week in Wendover the Civil Air Patrol flew 400 sorties with 20 cadets and soloed 10.
