CVSA Brake Safety Week is underway August 23rd through 29th, with inspectors nationwide paying additional attention to brakes and brake components.

Thorough pre and post trip inspections are an important part of every trip. Brake Safety Week reinforces the importance of identifying concerns early and addressing anything that doesn't look or feel right before it becomes a bigger issue on the road.

With school back in session, there's also more activity in neighborhoods and school zones. Staying alert, watching posted speed limits, and allowing extra stopping distance can help keep everyone safer.
