It was a rough day but these kiddos stuck it out and it paid off well with a mess of reef fish. Yellowtail Snapper and Cero Mackeral on anchor, and then a beautiful 24" red grouper on the troll. The Nomad DTX 145 shallow float gets it done in the shallow reefs during the winter, they cant seem to resist the candied pilchard.

Pretty good streak of sailfish trips, this marks the 3rd of the last 4 trips. Had to work pretty hard for this one, constantly cleaning grass off baits and swapping baits out, were just about to give up and go find dinner when the short kite bite took off streaking across the back of the boat and the she came up jumping, fish on! did great for his first time on the wheel and it turns out .captain.bryan does still know how to run a cockpit!

Went 0-1 on sails, but this stud bull dolphin came as a great consolation prize for this 18th birthday. Fishing is a bit tough right now but if you put in the word there are some quality fish out there. Book your trip out of aboard the Salt Walker today.

The muttons were loving the today on the reef. Group must have caught around a dozen on this lure alone and it held up through every one and still lives to fish tomorrow. Also in use is Nomad jigging rod and braid.

Had a double header of blackfin tuna dragging the Nomad and over a deep wreck outside of Key West on the way to the yard.

Salt Walker with the meat slam on a 6hr. This great group from Tennessee had all the meat they could handle, so we played catch n release the second half. A few dates left to book before we go to the yard for our off-season work.
