Duluth-Sky Harbor Airport The Duluth-Sky Harbor Airport is Minnesota’s premier seaplane base located out on Minnesota Point.

A unique airport, Sky Harbor offers not only seaplane operations but land operations as well. Along with the float plane dock, Sky Harbor has a sea plane ramp for easy transition to and from the water for amphibious and straight float aircraft. Visitors to the Sky Harbor Airport and Seaplane Base will have close and easy access to Duluth's waterfront area and it's many attractions.

Great news at Sky Harbor Airport! Our seaplane dock is installed! The hard working maintenance team from Duluth International Airport made some time this morning to assist with installation. Thank you for your hard work!

Also, we have a new AWOS frequency. Make note, it is now 120.025. The phone number still remains the same.

Sky Harbor Airport is closed until further notice while snow is being removed from the runway, taxiways, and ramps. Also note, the road to the airport is severely drifted over and passage isn't safe until plows come through. Check NOTAMs for the latest updates. We will update here when the airport can re-open. Fly/drive safe!

Here at Sky Harbor Airport, we value safety above all else. That being said, the airport is closed until further notice for snow removal and anything it takes to get the airfield back to a safe operating condition. Continue to check NOTAMs for the latest updates. All hangars are accessible by vehicle for those tenants who wish to brave the storm. Fly safe!
