Brake Safety Week is here!

From August 23-29, inspectors across the country will be paying extra attention to commercial vehicle brake systems, with this year’s focus on the condition of brake drums and rotors.

It’s another opportunity to show the pride and professionalism you bring to the road every day. Take the time to complete a thorough pre-trip, know your equipment, report issues right away, and give yourself the stopping distance you need out there.

Life on the road can make taking care of yourself a challenge. Long days, limited food options, unpredictable schedules, and hours behind the wheel can all add up.

Kivi Bros Trucking driver Brandon Fowler has lived those challenges himself. After reaching more than 300 pounds, he decided it was time to make a change. That journey eventually led him to become a certified health coach and create The Highway Health Coach Brandon Fowler, focused specifically on helping people in the trucking industry.
