We’ve met so many nice people while traveling. This bunch is from the rally we just attended in Grand Junction, CO. After the rally we all ended up coming to Moab, Utah and most of us at the same campground! (Not planned!) We’re hoping to get together again before we go our separate ways. This is honestly one of our favorite parts of RV life! .0

We spent some time at Arches today and it was glorious! Seems like I say that about everywhere we go! We are so grateful to God for this beautiful country and to be able to see so much of it. We are just getting started!

Leaving the Junction Rally this morning heading to Moab, Utah. We had a fantastic weekend meeting so many new RVer friends. The hosts were great and the RV park was beautiful! There are several others from the rally who are also traveling to Utah and staying at the same campground as we are. We’re looking forward to spending some time with them! And can’t wait to explore Moab!

Okay here’s just a snippet of what we’ve been doing for the last couple of weeks. National parks number five and six. I have to get off my bum and get ready to travel 10 miles down the road tomorrow to the Grand Junction rally with a bunch of other RVers! Also I need to watch the Braves! We are now caught up!

I told y’all I’m catching up! Next we spent three nights in Golden, Colorado and it was fantastic! We visited Lookout Mountain and the Buffalo Bill Museum although we couldn’t take the dogs in there so we only saw a little bit of it. We visited the Red Rock amphitheater where so many great artists have performed. I wish we could have seen a concert there, but that will have to wait until next time.

First stop in Colorado was Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The park is stunning and it’s free. While we were there, we took the steep curvy drive up to Pikes Peak more than 11,000 feet in altitude. It was cold up there! Right next-door is Manitou Springs, which is the cutest little hippie town I’ve ever seen in my life. There are seven natural carbonated springs scattered about the town. We also visited the Colorado wolf and wildlife Center which was super cool!

After we left Hot Springs, we traveled through Oklahoma and Kansas (aka middle of nowheresville!) we landed in Goodland, Kansas, which turned out to be the cutest little town. They have a
“big easel” with a huge van Gogh painting right in the middle of town. We saw some giant yard art and visited a museum that holds America’s first patented helicopter. We strolled through the town and met so many friendly people. And… we went to the fair! And it was free! We ate fair food, saw the biggest tractors I’ve ever seen and watched a drone show. Goodland is a really fun place to stop for a night or two.
