I have been saying "if the right opportunity came up, that i would sell and retire". Well, opportunity knocked. After 30 years of operating Ken's Boat and Motor, we have decided to close the shop and retire.
Time to work on some of my own projects, do some fishing, do some traveling, and do some relaxing.

For sale 1977 Polar Kraft boat and trailer. Boat was stripped down for a new floor and never finished.
15 feet long with 5 foot beam.
Seems to be a well built boat.
Trailer will need tires and lights.

Shop phones and internet are down. HTC phone company called, but won't be out till in the morning.

Been having issues with it working off and on. Now it seems off.

$3200 OBO. Selling a 2002 Mercury 40hp 2 stroke outboard.
It is a TILLER HANDLE, electric start, oil injected, with power trim.
Long shaft (20 inch transom)
Stainless steel propeller.

For transparency, Original powerhead had a damaged piston sleeve. We picked up a rebuilt powerhead from Berry Performance Marine. The replacement powerhead is from a 2008. Same block, crank, etc. as the original. Has new pistons, rings, etc.

All three carbs and fuel pump rebuilt.
Water pump replaced. Fresh gear oil change.
New spark plugs.

We have about half (five hours) of the break in time on it in our shop tank. That is running it from idle speed thru about 3000 rpm. Buyer will need to finish the break in time. I will give simple instruction on what needs done.

Installation is available.
