Sometimes, in the middle of a very full season, a call from the community reminds you exactly what matters.

Invictus Logistics recently had the privilege of answering one of those calls: helping feed 50 families at the Ronald McDonald House in Durham, NC.

Safiyyah, our People Team Manager Donovan, and a friend of our team came together to give their time, energy, and effort to this undertaking. We are so thankful for the care they brought to it and for their willingness to make room for others.

There was plenty already on their plates. Our leadership team is currently supporting two operations—our home station at DRT9 and the pop-up location we have been honored to operate at WNC5 in Kinston. Safiyyah also carries the daily responsibilities of owning and operating a restaurant in downtown Durham.

It is a busy season, and we are stretched. But when an opportunity to serve comes along, it touches something deeper than our schedules. It strengthens our hearts, brings us together, and reminds us of the kind of people and company we want to be.

We hope the meal offered these families a little comfort and one less thing to think about that day. We are humbled to have had the opportunity to contribute.

To Safiyyah, Donovan, and our team’s friend who helped make this happen: thank you. We see the effort, and we appreciate the heart behind it.

To the Ronald McDonald House staff and the representative who helped coordinate this opportunity: thank you for welcoming us into this work. And to the families, thank you for allowing us to serve you.

We count it a blessing to be in a position to give. Our hope is to keep listening, keep showing up, and keep doing what we can with what we have.

Service is our watchword—and we are grateful for every opportunity to put it into practice. ❤️

Blessed and thankful. ❤️

Those are the two words that keep coming to mind as we celebrate our newest milestones: six years in the Amazon DSP program and 15 million packages delivered.

I get emotional thinking about everything behind those numbers. The hard work. The prayers. The long nights. The difficult decisions. The moments when we had to take a breath, lean on our faith, and keep going.

There is so much of that journey that an award can never fully capture. But when we look at these recognitions, we see the people and the effort behind them—and we are proud.

We are proud of our Community Builder awards and our participation in Together We Give Back to the School. We are especially proud of our safety awards, including our five-year safety recognition. We look forward to June 2027 and the opportunity to receive our six-year safety pin, continuing safety recognition for every year we have been in operation. Getting our people home safely remains at the heart of what we do.

Our Legacy Award holds a special place in our hearts, too. We had the privilege of supporting one of our team members through the Road to Ownership program, and today he is a prominent DSP in the network. Watching someone who was part of our team step into ownership and build his own success is something we will always treasure.

And now—six years and 15 million packages.

Every one of these accomplishments has people behind it. To our team members, past and present: thank you. To our families, friends, and everyone who has encouraged us, prayed for us, or helped us along the way: thank you. You are part of this story.

To our Amazon Regional Team and leadership, thank you for your partnership and for the opportunity to continue this journey. The recent changes and continued resources being invested in the program leave us hopeful and encouraged about what lies ahead.

We have experienced peaks and valleys, and we know what it has taken to keep building through both. To still be here, operating successfully and looking toward the future, is a blessing we do not take lightly.

We are grateful for how far we have come, grateful for those who helped us get here, and grateful for the opportunity to keep going.

A new chapter for Invictus Logistics—and a meaningful homecoming!

On September 22, 2026, Invictus Logistics officially launched our pop-up operation at Amazon’s WNC5 station in Kinston, North Carolina! We kicked off with five new drivers and approximately 1,000 packages, taking an exciting first step in serving the surrounding rural and super-rural communities.

We are grateful to Amazon for the opportunity and the trust placed in our team. To the WNC5 leadership team and every leader who helped bring this launch to life: thank you for your partnership, support, and warm welcome. We are excited to build on that foundation together.

To give our newest team members a strong start, we brought five tenured drivers and five driver trainers from our DRT9 operation in Morrisville, North Carolina. Their mission was to provide hands-on training, model safe delivery practices, and help our new drivers build confidence and good habits from day one.

A special thank-you to our DRT9 team for stepping up and bringing the Invictus culture with you. Your experience, teamwork, and willingness to support others helped establish a strong foundation for this launch. Beyond teaching the work, you helped welcome our newest teammates into the Invictus family—showing them what our commitment to service, respect for the individual, and looking out for one another means in practice.

For me, this milestone is deeply personal. I graduated from Kinston High School in 1994. To return more than three decades later as a business owner, helping create jobs in the community that helped shape me, is both humbling and surreal. Kinston has always held a special place in my heart, and being able to contribute to its future makes this opportunity even more meaningful.

As we ramp up, we look forward to welcoming more local talent, creating new employment opportunities, and delivering the safety, service, and care our customers and neighbors deserve.

Our team is motivated, committed, and ready to work. We are here to support one another, strengthen our partnership with Amazon, and continue raising the bar at WNC5.

🚐💙 It’s Driver Appreciation Week at Invictus Logistics!

Today, our engagement team packed some extra appreciation for the road with “survival kits” for our drivers! Each kit included Gatorade, BelVita crackers, a couple bags of chips, a stress ball, and a cooling towel—a little fuel, refreshment, and relief for the miles ahead. 🧊💪🏾

Behind every delivery is a person putting in the work—navigating traffic, braving the weather, and serving our community. To our drivers: we see your effort, appreciate your dedication, and are proud to have you representing Team Invictus. You are the reason we keep moving!

Behind every successful delivery is a person whose effort makes a difference. Today, we’re proud to recognize Kanahisha for earning our team’s Frontrunner of the Year award through Amazon’s Delivery Associate Recognition Program!

This annual honor recognizes outstanding delivery associates who stand out among their team’s top performers. It celebrates the dedication and daily effort that help build a dependable delivery operation and earn customers’ trust.

In recognizing Kanahisha, we celebrate the care behind the work: delivering with professionalism, taking pride in serving customers, and representing Team Invictus with excellence. Those everyday actions matter—to our customers, our company, and the communities we serve.

Yesterday was another great example of what can happen when businesses and community organizations come together with a shared commitment to service.

Team Invictus Logistics partnered with our Amazon partners at DRT9 to support the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill and its annual Luminary Fundraiser.

Each year, the Ronald McDonald House assembles luminary kits that help light neighborhoods throughout the community while raising critical funds to support the programs, resources, and services they provide to families. This year, their goal is an incredible 70,000 luminary kits.

To help support that effort, Amazon DRT9 generously provided 400 boxes that will be used to package the completed luminary kits. Members of Team Invictus helped assemble the boxes and transported them to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill so they can be put directly to work as preparations for this year’s campaign continue.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to our partners at Amazon and the DRT9 team for helping make this possible. Partnerships like this demonstrate that our impact can extend far beyond the packages we deliver every day.

We’re also proud of Team Invictus for once again answering the call to serve. We believe being part of a community means more than simply operating a business within it—it means actively looking for opportunities to contribute, support others, and help strengthen the places we call home.

Most importantly, thank you to the staff, volunteers, supporters, and everyone associated with the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill whose hard work makes efforts like this possible. Their commitment to supporting families during some of their most challenging moments deserves our continued recognition and support.
