Parents, Did You Know? 🚌

Your child’s behavior on the bus matters more than you may realize.

The school bus is an extension of the school day, and safe transportation depends on students making good choices. Staying seated, using appropriate voices, respecting others, keeping hands to themselves, and following the driver’s directions all help create a safer ride for everyone.

When behavior issues happen, bus drivers often have to pull the bus over to address discipline concerns. This not only delays the route, but it can also keep all students on the bus longer than expected. In more serious situations, a bus may even have to turn around and return to the school, interrupting transportation for everyone on board.

Our drivers have a big responsibility behind the wheel, and they work hard to keep all students safe. Students can help by doing their part, too. 🚌

Good choices on the bus = a safer ride for everyone!

Talk with your child today about making safe choices on the bus. 🧡🖤

🚌 5 Minutes Can Make a BIG Difference!

Parents, we know mornings can be hectic, but having your child outside and ready at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the expected arrival time is an important part of keeping our routes running safely and on schedule.

Here’s why those extra few minutes matter:

🎯 We’ve Got a Challenge for You!

Parents, ask your child to tell you 3 school bus safety rules without looking at this list!
How many of these bus safety rules can your family check off 👇
✅ Wait for the bus in a safe place.
✅ Stay back from the road until the bus comes to a complete stop.
✅ Use the handrail when getting on and off.
✅ Stay seated while the bus is moving.
✅ Keep the aisle clear.
✅ Use inside voices and listen to your driver.
✅ Never walk behind the bus.
✅ Look both ways before crossing in front of the bus.
✅ Remind your family: NEVER pass a school bus with flashing red lights!

Drop a 🚌 in the comments if your family is taking the challenge!
Let’s make safety something we practice—not just something we talk about. 🧡🤍

🎉 We've almost made it through the first week of school! 🚌🍎

The first week is always one of the busiest and most challenging weeks of the school year for our transportation team. With new students joining routes every day, our drivers are constantly making adjustments to ensure every child gets home safely.

Imagine pulling into a school, being given new riders, and having to build or adjust your route before you even leave the parking lot—all while keeping students safe and getting everyone home as efficiently as possible. It takes patience, experience, and a whole lot of dedication.

This week wasn't perfect, but considering all the moving parts, we only experienced a few minor hiccups. We are incredibly thankful to our parents for your patience, understanding, and kindness as we worked through those adjustments.

And let's not forget...it's been HOT! ☀️🥵 Our drivers have spent long days climbing on and off buses, learning new stops, and making sure every student arrived safely despite the heat.

To our incredible bus drivers: THANK YOU. Your commitment, flexibility, and care for our students do not go unnoticed. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved weekend of rest and recovery because you've certainly earned it!

Please help us show our drivers some love by leaving a thank you or word of encouragement in the comments below. ❤️🧡
