Dodge Moving & Storage - Mayflower

Come on out to support a great cause! Dodge Moving and Storage is proud to partner with the Davis Phinney Foundation and Pedal in Place at the Race to support Parkinson's research. Dodge is in charge of moving all 45 bikes from Cyclebar to the event and then moving them back once the event has ended.

The event is held in conjunction with the Gateway Cup held in Florissant on Labor Day along with a family festival for all ages. You don't need skills or a reservation to help raise money for a good cause.

And another month bites the dust! So close to the end of peak season! Our office tried to beat the heat with lunch catered in by Jimmy John's and a special appearance by our new fav dirty soda business, Pop N Pour!!

A BIG ACHIEVEMENT FOR AN EVEN BIGGER MOVE!
Last month, our team successfully managed the relocation of approximately 3,000 skids during a major warehouse consolidation in Ohio, partnering with Andrews Moving & Storage.

Planned as a four-day move, our logistics strategy accounted for each truck’s load, travel, unload and return time to keep multiple tractor-trailers continuously cycling. Thursday and Friday averaged 5 trucks making 5 round trips each day, increasing Saturday to 8 trucks making approximately 5 trips each — 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝟵𝟬 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀.
The result? The move was completed ahead of schedule, eliminating the need for full pallet operations on Sunday.

This was our 12th project for this client, with projects now completed across California, Montreal, Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

During the last 2 weeks of July, Dodge hosted our annual school supply drive at the office. Our managers, office staff, and even contractors donated and we got quite a good amount of items for Blackhurst Elementary in Saint Charles, MO. After talking with their principal during drop off, we learned that their budget for the school year had been cut drastically so this was a very welcome surprise for them. Just a reminder that a small act of kindness can go a long way!
