Snow is already showing up in the higher elevations on the West Coast ❄️ Don’t wait for the first chain control to think about your chains.

Check your:
🚛 Chains — make sure you have them and know how to install them
🛞 Tires & tire pressure
💡 Lights & wipers
🧤 Gloves, warm clothes & flashlight
🌨️ Weather and road conditions before mountain passes

Snow, ice, fog and wet roads don’t care about your delivery time.

DOT inspectors are taking a closer look at commercial vehicle brake systems, especially brake drums and rotors.
During every pre- and post-trip inspection, check for:

✔️Cracks or broken/missing pieces
✔️Heavy rust
✔️Grooves or metal-to-metal contact
✔️Excessively worn rotors

Found a defect? Document it on your DVIR and report it immediately.
Brake-related violations can put your truck out of service.
