Set on 57 acres along the Connecticut River, Goodspeed Airport is a little haven for aviation in eastern Connecticut. With a 2,100' asphalt runway and 4,500' water runway, along with several banks of hangars, Goodspeed (42B) has recently come under new ownership and is looking to revitalize and renew the aviation community at the prettiest airport in the Northeast.

Calling all scouts!
Registration is now open for our Fall 2026-Fall 2027 scout workshops and overnights. From one-day workshops that earn badges and journeys, to fun-filled overnights at the museum, our scout programs offer Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Scouting America Scouts opportunities to explore the history, science, and technology of aerospace.
